This is most welcome. But wonder whether it will be a through service from Waterloo, or a shuttle from Surbiton to Thames Ditton and Hampton Court ?

That's good news. I've lost count the number of times I've walked back to Thames Ditton of an evening rather than wait for the train . Good exercise though!!

, it seems that we will soon be able to enjoy a half hourly train frequency from Thames Ditton until end of service, on Monday-Saturday.
Should save a few taxi fares from Surbiton!
