On the evening of Thursday 18 November the local Ripieno choir volunteered to tour six pubs in the locality to raise funds for the guide Hut Appeal. This splendid choir, which is due to sing Bach's St Matthew Passion in Guildford cathedral next Easter, raised £170 with some beautiful singing.
