The Repair Cafe@Vital Village was started by Gill Coates after the Walton Repair Cafe came along and ran a pop-up session at the Nature & Climate Festival in 2025. “The Walton Team have been incredibly helpful in helping us get up and running and several of their volunteers have joined our team too. Surrey County Council’s climate change team provided help to buy some tools and the all-important Repair Cafe item – a PAT tester. The aim is to run a monthly session on the last Saturday of the month, plus occasional weekday pop-ups.
