Roadworks on Hampton Court Bridge, commencing 24 January 2022, are likely to cause traffic delays 

Surrey County Council have advised of the forthcoming work on the bridge at Hampton Court to install security barriers along the pavements to prevent errant vehicle access in the event of a terrorist attack. 

The work will be carried out during the day, Monday to Saturday, over a three month period, dealing with one pavement at a time.  The bridge will remain open throughout, but traffic delays can be expected at times.
