Nature & Climate Festival 2023
Sponsors announced

Last year’s main festival sponsors, Russell-Cooke Solicitors, have announced that they will continue their support the festival again this year. Kieran Bowe, a partner in the firm’s Kingston office said, ‘We were delighted to support the first festival last September and we really look forward to being involved again this year.'

The festival steering group are also pleased to announce support from two other local businesses: Killik & Co, who will be sponsoring the photography competition and HJC estate agents who will be sponsoring the comedy night.

Keen to repeat the success of last year’s inaugural festival, the steering group are already putting together the programme and attracting additional financial support by way of grants. The TD & WG Residents' Association has committed £1000 towards running costs and the festival has just been awarded a grant of £870 from the Surrey Climate Commission. Richard Essex, Chairperson of the Surrey Climate Commission, said “Communities play a vital part in tackling the challenge of climate change. Through the small grant fund for sustainability, Surrey County Council and the Surrey Climate Commission are delighted to be helping groups across the county accelerate their excellent work for the environment.”

This year’s Nature & Climate Festival will take place 8–10th September in local venues, including the Vera Fletcher Hall and Thames Ditton Centre for the Community. Some of last year’s popular events are returning, including We Are the Voice children’s environmental choir, a talk from Squires garden centre and the Tech TakeBack.
