Title: Lovely New Trees Post by: Leafy on February 21, 2014, 10:32:53 AM It's great to see some new trees planted in the village, particularly as a few have been lost in recent gales.
I don't know how the six fastigiate oaks planted along Watts Road in front of the Library and TD Centre car park have been funded, but if there was some more public funds available it would be good to see new trees planted elsewhere, to replace lost street trees on Embercourt Road or greens approaching Longmead or at the junction of Speer & Summer Roads.
