Title: Td road closures - half marathon Post by: Juninho on February 23, 2014, 07:42:55 AM Some road closures this morning for the half marathon. Weston green road for sure and maybe some others in case you were about to drive down that way
I think Weston green road will be shut from the bridge to esher college from 8:30 to about 12 Shame it's not as nice as yesterday for the runners! Edited to add the route map: http://hamptoncourthalf.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/Hampton_Court_Half_MAP_v3.pdf Title: Re: Td road closures - half marathon Post by: craigvmax on February 24, 2014, 09:20:09 AM seems a cock up by the organisers, the course was 0.4 miles short! I wouldnt be happy if I'd run it.
Title: Re: Td road closures - half marathon Post by: Juninho on February 24, 2014, 10:07:54 AM No way!
And I got a message from a mate (I didn;t know he was running it but spotted him !) and he was really proud that he did in just under 2hours! Did you work that out from the route map or is it a news item? If so can you post up the link as I'd like to share with him! Quote from: craigvmax on February 24, 2014, 09:20:09 AM

a lot of very unhappy runners. Due to marshalling error Title: Re: Td road closures - half marathon Post by: Juninho on February 24, 2014, 10:48:48 AM I can imagine - thats really poor...
In my search to see if there was a news article on this one I stumbled on this: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-11572283 and that was 200m short. Its actually on their own website now as well and at least it sounds contrite: http://hamptoncourthalf.com/ Quote from: craigvmax on February 24, 2014, 10:30:47 AM
