I saw the one you mean this morning and it does look nasty...

hope they fix it soon - as if its reported and someone damages their car I believe they are entitled to compensation (so less money to actually fix it)...

Well done for reporting it, craigvmax. I expect they have a rush of work at the moment, and it will be interesting to see how quickly and well the contractors respond.

I'm not in TD at the moment, so like to ask is hole near or next to any bumps?

If it is, it's a good opportunity to  get rid of one of these devils!! At th same time.  More than happy to contribute to work, if required by council.

Has anyone reported the burst water main and subsequent pothole at the junction of Station Rd and Speer Road?

No - has that burst again?? Or was it a flooding of the drains last time?

Speaking of the pothole on st leonards round about- it gets bigger and nastier by the day

and just before it - if coming from summer road there is a nasty pothole forming in front of the drain just before you hit the roundabout.

Whats the likelihood of both being fixed at the same time?

I think they (the water company)  had a little go at the Summer Road and Station Road leak a few days ago, but it is still going isn't it?

...well, everyone will be walking/driving past the Speer/Station Rd 'geyser' tomorrow night on their way to the RA meeting at the Vera Fletcher hall

.....perhaps they'll change the Agenda to 'Parking   Planning  Potholing'

The place is falling apart......  I trust that someone has reported this again to Thames water and to SCC Highways respectively.

The pothole by the fountain roundabout has been sort of fixed. Looks like they didn't have enough tarmac to fill it to the rim - or were too lazy.  ???

Thames Water are aware of the leak by Station Rd/Speer Rd. Water leaks can be reported and tracked here (http://secure.thameswater.co.uk/thameswaterlive/index.htm)

Is there nothing that can be done/said to the contractors who have done a complete bodge of a repair on this?

I bet they still charge elmrbidge (i.e. us).

Is it worth taking a picture and sending it on ?
