Title: Re: pothole onto st leonards rd from village roundabout Post by: Juninho on January 22, 2013, 09:54:20 AM I saw the one you mean this morning and it does look nasty...
hope they fix it soon - as if its reported and someone damages their car I believe they are entitled to compensation (so less money to actually fix it)... Title: Re: pothole onto st leonards rd from village roundabout Post by: craigvmax on January 22, 2013, 10:20:21 AM its big enough to throw a cyclist or motorcyclist off thats for sure

Title: Re: pothole onto st leonards rd from village roundabout Post by: Admin on January 22, 2013, 12:58:02 PM Well done for reporting it, craigvmax. I expect they have a rush of work at the moment, and it will be interesting to see how quickly and well the contractors respond.
Title: Re: pothole onto st leonards rd from village roundabout Post by: craigvmax on January 22, 2013, 02:39:26 PM they were very efficient on the phone.
Title: Re: pothole onto st leonards rd from village roundabout Post by: BlueSky on January 22, 2013, 08:37:55 PM I'm not in TD at the moment, so like to ask is hole near or next to any bumps?
If it is, it's a good opportunity to get rid of one of these devils!! At th same time. More than happy to contribute to work, if required by council. Title: Re: pothole onto st leonards rd from village roundabout Post by: Ratty on January 28, 2013, 02:27:10 PM They've marked it with some spray paint along with a few of the others on the High Street. Hopefully it fill now be repaired soon.
Title: Re: pothole onto st leonards rd from village roundabout Post by: Rhodrich on January 28, 2013, 02:30:40 PM Has anyone reported the burst water main and subsequent pothole at the junction of Station Rd and Speer Road?
Title: Re: pothole onto st leonards rd from village roundabout Post by: Juninho on January 28, 2013, 04:02:50 PM No - has that burst again?? Or was it a flooding of the drains last time?
Speaking of the pothole on st leonards round about- it gets bigger and nastier by the day and just before it - if coming from summer road there is a nasty pothole forming in front of the drain just before you hit the roundabout. Whats the likelihood of both being fixed at the same time? Title: Re: pothole onto st leonards rd from village roundabout Post by: mg on January 28, 2013, 04:52:36 PM I think they (the water company) had a little go at the Summer Road and Station Road leak a few days ago, but it is still going isn't it?
Title: Re: pothole onto st leonards rd from village roundabout Post by: Leafy on January 28, 2013, 05:06:52 PM ...well, everyone will be walking/driving past the Speer/Station Rd 'geyser' tomorrow night on their way to the RA meeting at the Vera Fletcher hall .....perhaps they'll change the Agenda to 'Parking Planning Potholing' Title: Re: pothole onto st leonards rd from village roundabout Post by: Keith on January 28, 2013, 08:15:43 PM The place is falling apart...... I trust that someone has reported this again to Thames water and to SCC Highways respectively.
Title: Re: pothole onto st leonards rd from village roundabout Post by: Ratty on January 31, 2013, 02:08:45 PM The pothole by the fountain roundabout has been sort of fixed. Looks like they didn't have enough tarmac to fill it to the rim - or were too lazy. ???
Thames Water are aware of the leak by Station Rd/Speer Rd. Water leaks can be reported and tracked here (http://secure.thameswater.co.uk/thameswaterlive/index.htm) Title: Re: pothole onto st leonards rd from village roundabout Post by: Admin on January 31, 2013, 02:24:33 PM Thanks for the link to report a water leak, Ratty. I will include it in the next update of the links page.
Title: Re: pothole onto st leonards rd from village roundabout Post by: Juninho on January 31, 2013, 05:00:43 PM I saw this too and thought I was imagining it!!! I am a bit dopey in the mornings...
