Title: The Gloriana

Reading that the Gloriana, already a regular visitor to Thames Ditton, is looking for a new home (http://www.standard.co.uk/news/london/boroughs-battle-over-reberth-of-gloriana-9771915.html) I wondered if Elmbridge BC should make a bid too.

Cigarette Island perhaps??

Well she (is it ok to call a boat 'she'?) seems to have found a nice mooring outside someone's residence on riversdale on occasion !!

Surely next to Hampton Court Palace? Or maybe moored at the Albany with the Palace as a back drop.

I've just moved from Twickenham, and someone was going to build a new boats house, cafe and further green park enhancements but no planning was gained. The fields next to the Albany could benefit from some interest and maybe a royal connection will be nice also.
