I concur!
Just before New years -I went to Marnies with a mate but they had a private party on and suggested the greyhound. We went in there and I think (I may be getting my nights confused! it was a hazy period!) - there was a pub quiz on!
We had a great evening, good beer, good service, friendly staff and clientele. Should definitely frequent it again!
I think its time for another Forum pub crawl!!

The map cannot be displayed, you haven't specified a location yet.
The Greyhound is back and selling nice beer again. Now run by a nice friendly Irish team. They do not do food yet, but they plan to in due course - rudi

Have you written to him to bring it to his attention?

The Greyhound closed at the end of July. In a letter to regular customers, the proprietors stated that they were evicted as they wanted to take advantage of new laws which would allow publicans to source beer freely from other providers. Enterprise had other ideas and sought to evict the tenants even though they were entitled to buy beer on the open market. The matter ended in court and the findings were in favour of the tenants. Enterprise Inns have decided to take the case to appeal, but the tenants decided to move on.
This is a classic case of big corporates bullying the small business owner. Their greed is not limited to the case we have seen on Weston Green with the Greyhound (and also the Ewe), this is happening all over the country and pubs are closing at an astonishing rate because of these predatory pubcos.
Would be great to see out local MP pulling his finger out and bringing this up in Parliament. Now that he is no longer a Junior Minister, he should have a bit more time to fight our corner.
