Unfortunately there was a fatality when a young deer was run over a week or so ago in Littleworth Road (approaching the junction with the Scilly Isles) - please take care. Signs along Littleworth Road warning motorists of deer would be a help - could Peter ask the council to install them?

I haven't seen deer on the road, but I have seen them in the zoo and on farm land.We will need to keep our eyes on road.

There's plenty of deer up Telegraph Hill, especially over the last few months. The most I've counted was 7 in two separate groups. Although you will need to be up there early to see them.
They have been know to come down the side of the hill near Claygate Scout Hut and walk along towards the railway bridge into the common.

I haven't seen deer at Littleworth Common but I have seen them in the woods behind West End at Esher and on farm land around here. I guess we will need to keep our eyes peeled!

I was driving along Littleworth common road last night about 9 ish when a young deer ran out in front of me. I can't think where it must have come from? Luckily I missed it but if it was pitch black it may have been different.
Has anyone else seen deer on the common?
