I see that the final proposals on the redrawing of ward boundaries have been published.

It seems to me that the area of Thames Ditton Ward south of the Portsmouth Road originally proposed for transfer to Long Ditton Ward is to remain in Thames Ditton, and that Thames Ditton expands across Hampton Court Way N of Embercourt Road to take in some of the Molesey East ward.
Weston Green Ward, meanwhile, is joined with Hinchley Wood Ward into a "Hinchley Wood and Weston Green Ward". (mislabelled "Long Ditton Ward" on the map - I do trust the rest of the work has been carried out with greater attention to detail than that!)
This will have an effect on the politics of our local area and I shall be interested to see the Association's reaction.
