Thanks for that Keith. I must admit I did read that 'change to website' when it was issued but forgot the contents. Senior moment I'm afraid!
I've updated the link now anyway so all working fine.

There were a few days over the holiday period when the site was down during transfer. But if you're still getting the error message it is most likely because your machine is using a stored web address for the domain.. Google "clear dns cache" and carry out a simple operation to flush your DNS cache.

The need to re-register was presaged -for reason, see

I get the same. '500 Internal server error' so it looks like the domain has been transferred but something isn't right with the hosting server?
Didn't realise I'd have to re-register too, luckily nobody had pinched my old username!

I got error messages trying to access the old site - don't know if that is part of the 'few days or weeks' delay. Anyway, I googled and I'm here now. Happy new Year and thanks for the new site!

Transfer of website was created by Keith
Greetings. I have set up a redirect to the new site from the old one. It will take a few days or weeks to transfer the domain name so that the home of residents-association.com is re-registered under the new administrators. Please note that I am not an administrator for this new site - I will leave it to the new admin and moderators to introduce themselves.

Oh - and all good wishes for Christmas; may 2015 prove entirely satisfactory to all!
