Drop and Shop - Supporting carers
with their Christmas shopping  

Are mobility issues or other concerns making it difficult for your loved one to manage shopping trips? If so, and you want to catch up on Christmas preparations, you might like to investigate Elmbridge Borough Council’s ‘Drop and Shop’ scheme.

On specific days and times (latest dates: 15/16 December, see website below) in the lead-up to Christmas, the community centres at Walton and Cobham are offering a service where they will look after your loved one (over 18) for a few hours while you take some time off to shop in the local centres. They will be welcomed in the warm, friendly centres and have the option to join in the activities taking place.
