Put your old tech to good use with our Tech-Takeback on 9th September
Tech-Takeback, founded by leading Circular Economy expert Dr David Greenfield, is a Portsmouth-based initiative that breathes new life into old tech. This is not recycling, which is the last ‘re’ in the modern mantra; this is about re-using and re-purposing to keep items circulating in the economy for longer to drastically reduce their carbon footprint.
Dr Greenfield is bringing his pop-up Tech-Takeback to our Nature & Climate Festival on Saturday 9th September in the Vera Fletcher Hall from 10.30am onwards. For a small voluntary donation towards the re-processing costs, Tech-Takeback will take away your old tech and some household appliances.
