The Thames Ditton vaccination centre is asking for volunteers to help with their Covid vaccination booster programme.

The Thames Ditton vaccination hub has been up and running for a year now.  At first, during lock-down we were overwhelmed with offers from the public volunteering to make sure everything went smoothly.   Once everything opened up, many of our original volunteers have now become unavailable due to other commitments.   With the new Government push to get all booster jabs done as quickly as possible, things are again hotting up, and we really do need some new, kind souls to volunteer a little of their time to help out.

The centre is at Giggs Hill Surgery (14 Raphael Drive, Thames Ditton KT7 0EB) and vaccination sessions are mainly at weekends.   Volunteers can choose exactly if and when they would like to do a shift, which will be 1½ or 2hr slots.  Most of the tasks are outside and high viz jackets are provided.   We are a really friendly bunch , including some current ESC members, and would love to see and meet a few new faces.
