THAMES DITTON TRANSFORMED INTO A WINTER WONDERLAND FOR 2015 CHRISTMAS FAIR

This year, Thames Ditton High Street is being transformed into a Winter Wonderland for the 2015 Christmas Fair on Sunday 29th November, 3-6pm, organized by the Thames Ditton High Street Retailers’ Association. The event promises to be the most spectacular ever staged in the village as we will be welcoming the Ice King and Ice Queen, our shops and businesses will be covered in snow and you’ll find polar bears, penguins and reindeer.  Santa Claus will be in his crystal grotto and children (and pets) inspired by our Winter Wonderland theme are invited to turn up in fancy dress with glittering prizes for the most inventive costumes.

Kit Symons, Manager of Fulham Football Club, who has lived with his wife and family in the village for 17, years will flick the switch on the lime tree at 4.30pm, setting in motion the lighting up of our High Street for the entire festive season.

As locals and visitors have come to expect, our fantastic independent shops and businesses will be pulling out all the stops with the most fabulous selection of Christmas gifts to ensure the special people in your life get what they really, really want. But that’s not all, there will be non-stop entertainment and activities for all the family plus an abundance of mulled wine, mince pies and winter warming food available from our fantastic cafes, pubs and restaurants plus special festive stalls with every treat and delicacy imaginable.
