On Saturday 17th June from 2pm to 4pm we will be having a Water Safety Afternoon supported by the RNLI to ensure that as many people know about river safety and how to use the throw line recently installed at Albany Reach, Thames Ditton.

We are extremely fortunate to live so close the River Thames which is popular with residents and visitors alike. However, the River can be dangerous and tragically several people have lost their lives.

The RNLI have kindly agreed to come to Thames Ditton, visitors will be able to ask questions, sign up to the charity and purchase RNLI items. They will be demonstrating how to throw a line to crew members in the river and the lifeboat from Teddington station will be joining us unless they are called out to an emergency
