Title: Filming In Longmead Rd
Post by: Deborah on October 02, 2014, 08:36:16 AM
Hoping someone on here knows. We have filming going on which is really imposing. The street has been taken over for the last two nights by operatives, cranes, vehicles, trucks and lighting, making access to our houses difficult. I assume the company has obtained permission for this from the local housing association? Would it not be unreasonable for the housing association to have consulted with the residents of the road?

its been mentioned on the ATD Facebook page, its a Martin Clunes film I think. I worked on a film driving a car a couple of months ago and whilst they had closed the street, i'm pretty sure residents on the street in Chelsea in question hadn't been told and unsurprisingly the residents were going mad as we drove supercars past their houses all night long. Seems very unfair. When a film company were going to use my house a few years ago they were willing to pay residents around them to appease them somewhat. Sorry, it must be very annoying for you, I'm sure won't be for long though.
