Reducing Our Risk of Flooding in

Thames Ditton - An Exhibition
on Saturday, 16th November

Vera Fletcher Hall, 4 Embercourt Road, KT7 0LQ
  From 11.00am to 4.00pm
With talks by experts at 12pm and 2pm

In January this year, there was a Flood Warning and the
River Thames rose to within 25cm of the flood level
reached in 2014. The main high-risk area of
Thames Ditton was protected by previous activities
of the Residents’ Association Flood Group.

The Flood Group has now obtained funding to purchase
some Temporary Flood Barriers to protect us more in the
future. If you would like to find out about this barrier
scheme and what it aims to do and discuss other flooding
issues, please attend the Exhibition and listen to the talks.

Apart from the Residents’ Association, there will
be representatives of the Environment Agency,
Surrey County Council, Elmbridge Borough Council and
the supplier of the equipment - Lakeside Flood Solutions.

Come along, look at the exhibition, listen to and talk to the
experts and sign up for a free initial, no obligation, survey

of your property to see what can be done to improve its
Flood Resilience and give you peace of mind
the next time there is a Flood Alert.

If you cannot attend the event itself, but are interested in finding
out more, please email the Residents' Association Flood Group at
thamesdittonfloodgroup@gmail.com giving your address and
contact details and we will provide some more information.
