TWO SEPTEMBER EVENTS TO NOTE AT THE HOME OF COMPASSION IN THAMES DITTON

HoC Tate Britain event1. Art Presentation by Tate Britain, Tuesday 26th September, 6.30pm

This is one of the Home of Compassion's Talkative Tuesday events.  Marcus, from the Tate, is an experienced curator and orator.  He gives great depth of knowledge to all the pieces he describes.  To enable such a prestigious event to occur, Tate would ideally like to appeal to :-

  •  Disabled people
  •  Those who are unable to travel to the Tate Galleries in London
  •  People not usually exposed to art.

The event is free, but booking is essential.

2. McMillan Coffee Morning, Friday 29th September in the Bistro

Paul, the Home of Compassion's chef, will be surpassing himself with some Parisian delights, and coffee will be on tap for all.  If the weather is suitable, it is hoped to have a snail race on the lawns overlooking the River Thames.  All that is asked is that you remember to pop a donation in the McMillan pot before you leave.
