Courses, Workshops and Crafting with a Focus on Sustainability!
The Nature & Climate Festival weekend offers all sorts of opportunities to learn a new skill or have fun crafting, all with sustainability in mind and some of them free of charge.
You can:
+ Learn how to mend and repair clothes with Cornish sustainable clothing brand Finisterre, in their “Lived and Loved Repairs Workshop’ on Friday (two sessions available; £10).
+ Enjoy a nature-inspired creative writing session with Katie Randerson on Saturday and Sunday, (free).
+ Craft a Creature with the David Shepherd Foundation (childrens workshop) on Saturday and Sunday (free).
+ Learn how to make a wildlife feature in your garden on Saturday, in a family afternoon activity with the Wildlife Aid Foundation (free).
Places are limited on many of these, so book now to avoid disappointment. Details of how to book are on the Festival web page.
