AWARDS CEREMONY HONOURS TOP THAMES DITTON RETAILERS
Thames Ditton councillors Tricia W. Bland and Ruth Lyon were thrilled to celebrate with the winners of the Elmbridge Retailer of the Year Awards 2017 at a special ceremony at the Civic Centre in Esher. Jeremy Hamilton won Best for Gifts for Stitchery; Katie, Jason and Connor of Paull’s won Best Deli or Grocer and Alaa Habbooby of Café Noir, won two of the Awards, for Best Restaurant or Café plus the overall award for Best Independent Retailer in Elmbridge.
Says Cllr Tricia W. Bland, ‘We are thrilled that our Thames Ditton shops and businesses continue to be recognised for their fantastic goods and services by the people that matter - the local residents who vote for them. Winning four out of the six categories in this year’s Elmbridge Independent Retailer of the Year Awards, is proof of excellence of our wonderful High Street and also the very special service that commuters and visitors receive at Café Noir, at Thames Ditton Station.’
